There are two links to the same livestream – you can choose to follow the videostream or audio only. Want to chat with other listeners during the livestream event? Check out the Chat section below. Stream and chat will earliest be available 10 minutes before the event.
💡 Before using the livestream and/or chat service, you should be aware of the website’s Privacy Policy. There, especially read upon the sections Livestream server data and Chat server data. 💡
Videostream
The videostream (audio + video) cannot be opened in or via the browser. Please use a dedicated application like VLC media player (download here). VLC for Android does not work!
Within VLC media player, go to Media –> Open Network Stream… –> Network. In the URL field please fill in:
http://live.ivojoystone.com/video.tsClick Play and you should be prompted for login credentials. Once correctly entered, the stream will start playing in a matter of seconds. Don’t have login credentials yet? Shoot a polite request to contact@ivojoystone.com.
Audiostream
The audiostream can be opened in any browser via this button:
Alternatively, the audiostream can be opened via other applications like VLC media player (download here). Here the current music’s artist and title are displayed and refreshed automatically, too.

Chat
💡 Be aware that the most recent chat history will be included into the livestream’s video. 💡
While listening to the livestream you can join a virtual chatroom and exchange with other listeners. Your messages are visible to other chat members for as long as they are connected to the chatroom. The chat application itself does not save a history of the exchanged messages. This also means you will not be able to see messages from the time before you joined.
1. Open the login page via this button:
2. It’s recommended to choose a unique nickname to let others have (at least) a clue about who you are. The rest of the fields can be left by their defaults.
3. Tick ‘I have a password’ and fill in the password that was provided to you for the chat and click ‘Connect’. (Although it might seem as if you can successfully join the chat without providing a password, this is actually not the case.)
4. Once you successfully joined the chat, on the left side of the window choose which channel you want to follow or write in. The main channel is #ivoJoystoneLive, if you experience technical issues, feel free to post them in #technicalIssues. You can switch between channels seamlessly by clicking on them.
5. Happy chatting!
By closing the chat’s browser tab you are automatically disconnected from the chat.
